cloak pt. 2 - fall/winter 2004

Cloak's Fall Winter 2004 collection has been widely acclaimed as one of the greatest menswear collections to ever hit the runway. Robert Geller and Alexandre Plokhov crafted an array of Edwardian-inspired garbs that featured innovative details - elbow straps, pointed cuffs, slanted pockets - which were met with insurmountable praise from fans of the label. The collection was Cloak's first to exclusively feature slim trousers, a trend which was beginning to catch on in the United States after its revival overseas by Dior's Hedi Slimane. Dark olive, plum, and jet black were the colors of choice for the season. The brand's image and popularity were sculpted by this collection which many men still hold in the highest of regards.

White Out

Spring 2012

The most prevalent trend at the spring summer 2012 shows this past week was the overabundance of white. Designers have toned down their violently strong usage of color and are looking for softer alternatives to paint your wardrobe with.
