The Wake, one of my personal favorite bands, will be playing only their second show in the United States ever this friday at South Street Seaport's Pier 17 at 7pm. Ever since I was introduced to them by The Drums, the creamy lyrical ballads of this 80s Scottish post-punk Factory records band have mysticized my mind. I hope to see you there.
